We’ve always been fans of Prezi for putting together unique looking presentations. But when we stumbled across Impress.js by Bartek Szopka we were a little bit excited to say the least.

Paper.js is an open source vector graphics scripting framework that runs on top of the HTML5 Canvas. It offers a clean Scene Graph / Document Object Model and a lot of powerful functionality to create and work with vector graphics and bezier curves, all neatly wrapped up in a well designed, consistent and clean programming interface.
And yes – nothing from what you see in their current examples contain Flash. That’s pretty impressive.
We can’t wait to start delving into this on some future projects – especially for use on the iPad. Who wants to be our first contender?

Being a small biz ourselves (ed: small but mighty) we understand the importance of having local support and being part of a community. Making these types of connections and helping one another to succeed is important for any business.
Which is why when we found out about the newly formed Chippendale Creative Precinct supporting the local area as a vibrant and creative hub – we jumped in feet first to offer our support.
